About this Speaker
Dr. Zhang Yanliang serves as a Chief Scientist at Weston Robot in Singapore, where he leads a team developing various types of robot combating COVID-19. Before starting Weston Robot, Dr. Zhang served as a Chief Scientist and Executive Deputy Director at Xbot Park in Songshan Lake in China from 2015 to 217, Robotics Product and Industrial Marketing Manager at MathWorks in USA from 2011 to 2015, and Research Associate at University of Toronto in Canada from 2010 to 2011. Dr. Zhang got his Bachelor in Computer Engineering, and PhD in Robotics from NTU (Singapore) in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Dr. Zhang also serves as adjunct professors at universites.
